Quick Overview

Dyanm RC AT-6 Texan, Retracts, radio control warbird, PNP

The Dynam RC AT-6 Texan is a superb WWII scale airplane. Most all the work has been completed in the manufacture process, from assemble to paint to installation of the retracts, it has been all done for you, even before you open the box! All that's left to do is about 1 hour of final assembly and radio installation.

The EPO foam is some of the most crash-resistance material in the market (which you will not need since this is a gem to fly). The take off is easy from most hard surfaces or very short grass-field. The large brushless motor provides plenty of power which enables the Dynam AT-6 Texan to have scale take-off with 50% power. The scale split flaps are operational and ready to use right out of the box. you only need use 2 servos. (flap servos not included)

Build time is around 60 min from box to air. Expect flight time to be from 6-10 minutes

Servo Reverser Y-Harness (click here)

The Servo Reverser will actually reverse the direction the servo. This allows Y cables to be used on the optional without reversing the orientation of one servo.

GraysonHobby Lipos - Best Servo Rate Adjuster (click here)

Gives you the ability to slow the servo speed on the flaps for a scale look.

Tranmitter & Radio GraysonHobby 2200 30C 11.1V  (click here)

Double your flying time, purchase a 2nd or 3rd battery.  Remember, 2-3 short flights is much better than 1 long flight.  The key to great flights on the twin motors is the amount of  "juice" the battery supplies the motor.  The GraysonHobby 30C is the perfect match.

I ordered this plane and it was delivered quickly to NC, with no damage, and looked great out of the box. I am an intermediate pilot and the build was easy enough. It went together well and LOOKED AWESOME! Nice sized wingspan, retracts function well after some tweeking, servos glued solidly, paint scheme looked great! My ONLY issue on my maiden flight was the 30amp ESC went up in smoke.... literally... After the plane lifted from the ground an I began to climb, I noticed smoke coming from around the canopy.. of course immediately bringing to the ground to a half way decent landing in a hurry (Large scale wings help it float nicely). I had to pull the battery out quickly, the the 30 amp ESC which most wires had melted off, was pulled next. I had saved my plane, lol. I am sure it was just a faulty ESC as it happens from time to time (didnt even put in a ticket to GH) I popped in a Hobbyking 35 amp ESC and took it back to the field! WOW!!!! What an awesome bird. Graceful flight. 3s 2200mah Flightmax battery balanced it out well to my liking. Has enough power for cuban 8's, nice rolls, inverted flight, etc.. it has done everything I have thrown at it. Landings were SWEET (when not rushed from smoke, lol) I programed flaperons to help me land on the small area i have to fly. I would recommend this plane to anyone with some warbird experience, but must caution a few double checks on electronics before maiden just to be safe. I have since purchased a couple other Dynam planes from GH, and I am fully satisfied with the products i receive, and the price. (Posted on 1/16/2015)

like this alot. one problem the gear legs are to soft a wire. fixed on mine by taking gear apart and heating wire to make it hard. no more bent gear!! it was so bad it bent on taxi in grass. (Posted on 10/17/2013)

An excellent and tough model that flies like a dream. She does require some added weight in the nose (up to 4 ounces) to get the CG set properly. And, like the real T-6 she tends to groundloop on landing, if you aren't ready with a quick finger on the rudder. A sweet airplane...particularly for the price. (Posted on 12/15/2012)
