Quick Overview

Dynam RC C-188 Trainer

Dynam C-188 (Orange) 1500mm

The Dynam RC C188 has superb maneuverability even at low speeds and altitude, this is due to another great design from Dynam RC plus the factory installed FLAPS!

Like all the planes from Dynam RC, the Dynam C-188 comes with a pre-painted finish from the factory with high standard and represents an excellent replica of the real aircraft.

All servos, ESCs and motors are factory installed from the Factory. The Detrum brushless motor provides plenty of power for sporty scale flying, extend the flaps on landing for a perfect touchdown in any surface due to the fixed landing gear.

Build time is around 45- 60 min from box to air. Expect flight time to be from 8-15 minutes, but all depends how fast you fly.

Airplane Features:
  • Factory Installed Flaps Servos and Flap Hignes for slower / shorter landings

most excellent Review by turtlechef
I bought the c-188 over a year ago. Except the bad servo and servo reverser the plane is awesome. I convinced my buddy to buy one and they look awesome together in the air. I put a parachute drop on mine and can drop up to 6 18 inch parachutes at once. I can get about a 12 minute flight on a 4c 3000 pack at half throttle. This is my go to can take a beating and bounces right back. Great purchase. (Posted on 7/8/2016)
Powerful and stable flyer Review by Bob H
This has tons of power so it can really move if you want it too. With the flaps down it can fly and land very slowly without stalling. Great airplane! (Posted on 6/13/2016)

Almost Perfect...One week later! Review by James Allen
It took a week but my patience paid off. If you remember my previous rant, things didn't go well after a servo failure returned my model to kit form. With care and an ample parts bin, also known as my junk box, there is life after death. As already stated, my Dynam models fly beautifully and this Cessna is no exception. Please sample my Monday flight on this youtube link... (Posted on 2/8/2016)
Almost Perfect Review by James Allen
This is my third Dynam aircraft. A year of happy flying with the F4U and four months with the F6F, but two minutes into the third flight with the C-188, the port side aileron servo went full lock, AKA failure....maybe I'll have better luck with Dynam number four. (Posted on 2/3/2016)
Dusty Review by Christine
We just finished putting the "real life Dusty Crophopper " together. We haven't put it in the air yet, but the quality is nice and easy to assemble. Absolutely worth the buy. (Posted on 11/23/2015)
Dynam C-188 Review by rex s
Very nice plane. Easily seen by my old eyes, really stands out in the blue sky. Flew it straight into a tree trunk, bounced back and fell four feet. Only had to straighten the tail wheel a little and it was back in the air. Not for beginners but second or third airplane recommended. (Posted on 11/3/2015)
Review by Dean Zinter
Plane looks nice, flies stable, however the motor seems to be very noisey at low rpms.
Landing gear is a little soft (not heat treated aluminum). And yes the flaps are a problem, had to buy a servo reverser.
Would like to find a place to buy spares, prop, landing gear, etc.
Other than those a good flying plane.

Pro: Lightweight plane with improved EPO over the earlier dynam planes, well powered, sturdy gear for grass, flies well. Looks Great
Cons: Flaps have standard servos and work like ailerons, need to replace them or buy a servo reverser. Spinner and prop are not balanced and will cause severe vibration if you dont balance them properly.
Overall 4 stars for experienced pilots, DO NOT recomend for new pilots due to some customization needs to be done before flight. Thanks Grayson! (Posted on 6/20/2014)
