Great looking plane. Nose gear still an issue. Review by Richard Peterson
First, hats off to Grayson Hobby. Three days from order to delivery. No damage to the box or contents. Build was fairly easy. Only real problem was a poorly manufactured nose gear. Lower portion of strut was stuck fully extended due to excessive plastic from the molding process. The lower half was also off center. Took it apart and removed the excess. Replaced the upper torque link with a servo arm. That allowed me to attach it on the opposite side which aligned the two sections. Like most others, I beefed up the nose gear mount area. All else went well. All of my 2200 mah batteries have velcro attached for use in other planes. They would not fit into the battery bay. Had to carve a little foam out.
Very happy with the appearance and price. This would easily be a 5 star rating if the nose gear problem would be corrected. Haven't flown it yet but have owned numerous Dynam planes. All flew great. (Posted on 7/6/2016)
Great little buddy! Review by Tim
Before the maiden flight, I pinned and epoxied the nose gear mounting plate then installed a notched piece of ply wood behind the nose gear strut....remove the issue before it becomes one.
Great plane, looks very scale, flaps are fantastic and landings are sweet. I'm focused on main wheel landings for reasons posted.
A lot of fun at a great price. (Posted on 6/15/2016)
Very stable trainer Review by Bob
Like others said, only issue is with the nose gear. You most likely will need to reinforce or replace. Other than that this is the most stable plane I have. It always returns to wings level flight on it's own. It has plenty of power and also glides very well. (Posted on 6/13/2016)
A one trainer!!!!!!# Review by Jerry Petz
Love this plane so much that I ordered a third one. I smacked the first two up so much that they were unflyable. Lol. I'd recommend this plane to anyone. The only thing that I would complain about is the nose gear. It's a lousy design. You have to land it by touching the main landing first. If you don't, the nose gear gets bent easily. great looking ,easy build, easyflyer, need to come in on mains no landing on nose wheel. (Posted on 1/5/2015)
Review by Dennis Poland
Good looking and good flying in low wind conditions. Nose gear keeps bending and requires removal to straighten. Made one from a brass welding rod that I can straighten without removal until I get the landings down. Also has a weak propeller shaft. Be sure and order extra shafts and retaining clips from Grayson Hobby. (Posted on 5/21/2014)
