Quick Overview

Dynam SU-26M Plug and Play - Needs Receiver, Transmitter, & Battery

The Dynam RC Su-26m is a superb aerobatic airplane. Most all the work has been completed in the manufacture process, from assemble to paint to installation of the electronics, it has been all done for you, even before you open the box! All that's left to do is about 1 hour of final assembly and radio installation.

The Dynam Su-26M is an awesome high performance aerobatic stunt plane designed to perform complex 3D moneuvers with ease. The aircraft is painted in a vivid red paintscheme which looks just as great up close as in the air. Like all Dynam aircraft, the Su-26M is made from durable EPO foam which is both light, strong and easy to repair.

The EPO foam is some of the most crash-resistance material in the market (which you will not need since this is a gem to fly). The take off is easy from most hard surfaces or very short grass-field. The large brushless motor provides plenty of power which enables the Dynam SU-26m to perform many aerobatic stunts

Build time is around 60 min from box to air. Expect flight time to be from 6-10 minutes

An excellent value, for park flying. Review by Don Hinds
Performs very well with a 3-cell/2200 lipo. Grass takeoffs &
landings are a breeze. Only problem was a dead rudder servo as received. Replaced this component then she behaved as expected. Stable & highly responsive. Used 30 percent servo rate for ailerons & 100 for elevator and rudder. A sharp and well engineered model. (Posted on 10/8/2016)
Excellent aerobatics Review by Leonard Hall
They are still having trouble with the cockpit being warped at the back, leaving a gap. I put magnets at the back in order to help hold the cockpit/canopy to the fuselage. I glued the canopy while the cockpit was on the airframe, with my magnets helping to close the gap. I love the aerobatic performance of this airplane. (Posted on 7/28/2016)
Plane went together well but took time to fiind right sized fasteners, excellnt value, will say more when maiden flight is over. Review by Steve C. Younger
Took time to find correct fasteners, good construction but cockpit section a little warped, gap between rear and fuselage, all adjustments done, have not maidened the plane yet. excellent value. (Posted on 5/19/2016)
Great R/C aircraft purchase! Review by fred anger
I received this SU-26 in 5 days from Grayson Hobbies, and had it RTF in about an hour. That's the best time in my 40 years of rc airplane assembly I've ever done. The fit of parts and completeness of hardware made it a snap. This was the first time I received a kit at one Oclock and flew the plane at 2:00! My 14.8 lipo was already charged). Since then I have put over 25 flights on this plane, totally happy-a 10! (Posted on 4/28/2016)
All in all a great buy and flyer. Review by Fast Freddy
Git the plane in 6 days--had it ready to fly in 2 hours-set the throws as stated, and the plane flew like a champ. If you are thinking of using more than a 2200 battery, a 2800 will slide in perfectly with no problem-make sure the battery is placed in the correct CG position and secure. I like the deans connector already on the esc.since I use deans on all my lipos. You could use a bit less travel than stated for the ailerons and elevator on low rates for your first couple flights.-very responsive. THIS PLANE IS A BLAST! (Posted on 4/15/2016)

Great groups of People. Stopped by their shop on the way down to Florida. My son and I picked up a Dynam airplane to fly while we were on vacation. We purchased a few batteries as well that where the perfect size. When we arrived in Florida, I realized I needed some building supplies so the fine folks at Grayson sent me them express so I could have them. Well worth the 45 min drive out of the way. Thanks Lindsay and Basil!! You have a customer for life. (Posted on 8/8/2014)
Nothing but problems with this plane. The small screws on the landing gear broke off after a couple landings. Funny sound coming from the motor in flight, the motor should be held on with 4 screws on the aluminum plate, Only 3 screw and all were loose. Rudder servo went bad. Motor shut off in flight (bad ESC) Replaced the ESC and after about 5 flights the motor burned up. (Posted on 8/4/2014)

This is my 2nd review for the Dynam SU26M purchased on 7/3 and received on 7/9.
Easy to put together ,had 8 flights on the plane . The 8th flight I had a major problem , the rudder servo totally stripped out . I had notice during the flight the tail kept fish tailing , I was flying in a 8mph wind , bringing in the plane was a little harrowing and was not a pretty landing .
I ended up changing all the servos to be safe . When I took the rudder servo apart it was a shredded mess . I do not blame Grayson but wanted to alert you of the problem ,also sent e-mail to Dynam .

Thanks ,

Ordered on 7/3 received on 7/9 , not bad for a holiday week .
1. Packaged well but had some bending where wing edge attaches to fuselage , not critical.
2. Re-enforced all magnets and motor mount , habit from flying 15 years and re-enforcing all joints .
3. The CG was very sensitive !!!
4. This is only the third ( 3rd ) electric I have owned , fly glow & gas , and without a doubt the smallest I had owned .

The plane is fun to fly and after trim of all controls ,with expo , it tracks straight with hands off . I will always be a glow & gas person but I wanted a plane to toss in my SUV without all the associated equipment of break-down/set-up at home and cleaning at the field .
From one vet to another thanks .
