OSD PID Tuning Review by Farrider
You can tune PIDS and many other BetaFlight options in the OSD. You access this by using the transmitter. These instructions are for the Taranis.
Move the Yaw stick left and the Pitch stick up at the same time and the menu will appear.
the right stick up and down moves up and down the menu. Moving the right stick right selects and item to change.
This is a handy feature for tuning and changing options in the field.
You can set up the OSD display in BetaFlight.
Get one of these copters when Grayson gets them, they will go fast. Pick up the regular 220 now then move up to this when who knows when they will be available. (Posted on 7/6/2017)
Excellent Upgrade to the 220 Review by Farrider
I just received an early shipment of the 220S. Comes with Omnibus F4 flight controller which uses BetaFlight and has a built in OSD. The OSD is configurable in Betaflight. The Plug and Play version has a connector pre soldered to the SBus connection on the board. I used a small FRSky receiver .SBus is on UART 6 in BetaFlight
The camera is now a CCD with good image quality. It has a pagoda antenna which is OK.
ESC's are integrated on the board and not on the arms. It also has a programmable LED array on the back in addition to the LED's on the bottom of the arms.
Overall a nice upgrade to this economy quad. (Posted on 7/5/2017)
