Quick Overview

GH Micro Jet V3 Brushless Outrunner Motor, MJV3

MicroJet V3 Parkjet SPEED 400 size Brushless Motor

After 4 yrs GraysonHobby and Welgard learned how to improve the original GH2212-06, by making it smaller and lighter a 3rd time.  GraysonHobby was worked closely with Welgard for several months to develop a ‘V3 microjet’ which is a high speed high KV motor for smaller parkjets and parkflyers. Prop range is limited due to the High Kv (2200) rating of this motor. Use with 3 cell lipo battery capable of sustaining 20 amps. Prop range is from 5x5 to 6x4.   Nearly as strong as the SuperSonic V2, but much lighter.

The motor features a 3.17mm hardened steel shaft, dual ball bearings, and has 3.5mm gold spring male connectors already attached and includes 3 female connectors for your speed control.   Mounting holes have 16mm and 19mm spacing on centers and are tapped for 3mm (M3) screws. (ie if the mount does not fit, turn it 90 degrees)

Fast shipping. Excellent motor for the money. ordered one a year ago and the prop adapter was the wrong size. This one has the right adapter but is inferior. It does not slide on the shaft far enough. Cheap junk, do yourself a favor and get a good quality prop adapter that fits right. Grayson should address and fix this problem as it seems to be a consistent issue. Other than that it is a great motor at a good price and fast shipping. Will buy more when the time comes from Grayson because they are Americans and I hate HK even if they are cheaper. (Posted on 8/6/2012)

I am using this with an A-10 (was supposed to have twin 55mm edf's) mounted in back as a pusher.

Wingspan: 870mm (34.5")
Length: 968mm (38")

I am probably getting 60 mph with a little less then 1 to 1
using a 1600 3S 30 amp esc on a

6 x 4 (found on this site)

would like to hear how the 5x5 prop performed

if I had it to build all over again would have bought the GH Super Mega Jet for this size plane not exactly the bullet I was looking for but it is very very light and doesn't appear to over heat (Posted on 4/19/2012)

I've used this little powerhouse in small deltas and also in a pylon racer. It has a lot of power for being such a small motor. Impressive. (Posted on 10/27/2011)

Have three of these. Strong motor. Good speed and light weight. Use this on 24" wing span F-22, and SU-27 with 3S 1000 and 3S 1300. Works great. Have had a few bad crashes and the motor continues to work like new. (Posted on 3/20/2010)
Review by Scott Stanger
Price per pound, it's a great little motor! You can't beat it, 2208-08 is a little power house. If you are new to flying park jets or need a good price to performance ratio, then this light weight motor is for you. We fly two F-117's, on with the V2-2212-06, and the other with this 2208-08. Granted the 2208-08 at raw speed is slower than the V2-2212-06, but it holds it's own in arobatics, veritcal climbs, and moc dog fights. For a small motor it's well worth the cost for it's performance. (Posted on 1/22/2009)
