I built a motor mount out of ply and attached this motor to my Zagi THL (Flying Wing), and it works great, it will zing along at about 45 mph. Great little motor! (Posted on 8/13/2009)

I installed one of these in my e-flite foam P-47 and it has exceeded all expectations. I first flew the P-47 with a 2200 mah 2 cell pack, a 25 amp speed control and an APC 10x4.7 prop. It flew well, pulling just 14 amps wide open, but required full throttle for a decent climb and manuevering. I installed an 1800 mah 3 cell pack, a 32 amp speed control and the same APC 10x4.7 prop. The performance is spectacular. Full throttle pulls 24 to 26 amps depending on battery condition. This exceeds the recommended 20 amp max continuous so I only use full power for climb out and in short bursts for manuevers. Cruise with throttle back pulls between 14 and 18 amps and flight times are in excess of eight minutes. (Posted on 6/6/2009)

I purchased my first 1 of these motors (at SEFF 2007) for a E Flite Funtana X that I was setting up to fly sport (not 3D), and it worked well.
My second one was for the HL TalorCraft my wife gave me for my birthday in 2007, and it flys superb with this motor.
My last motor was purchased for a 52"WS J3 Cub.
Like the others, the motor fits well and I am happy with the performance of all of these motors.
All of these planes are under 2 lbs and fly on 2200 3S lipo with GWS 25A ESC's using an APC 10X4.7 prop. (Posted on 10/30/2008)

WOW..Quality for the price is unreal. I called grayson to ask them how they do it. Outstanding motor, pulls my E-Flite plane around with authority. (Posted on 12/7/2007)

I'm using this motor on my Raidentech Skylane Cessna 41" .15 and it flys great with a 10x3.7 SF prop with a 3s 2100 lipo.
Also have it on my Richmodels electric Spitfire 380 with the same prop and battery and it has plenty of climbing power and flys pretty fast. Just wish the shaft was a little thicker or that I could fly my planes a little better.LOL
The service is awesome here as well. (Posted on 8/19/2007)
