fun plane. Review by Billy
This is a great plane. It was my first plane, and I loved it so much, I got two more so I would have another if I crashed one or two. It is easy to graduate to flaps, just add one servo. Dont forget to program your transmitter to apply some down elevator with the flaps. If you don't, it will balloon up. That was my mistake. Also, don't forget to buy floats. It makes this plane a blast to do some snow flying. It was so much fun to taxi on the snow, that I wore out my new floats. If you add floats, be sure to get a more aggressive prop. I use a 10x7E. This gives the plane more power without having to replace the ESC or motor. I keep the 10x7E prop even for the wheel landing gear. It improves the plane's power and helps you throttle out of a stall. The large wheels allows you to take off and land from less desirable runways. This is a great cub style plane. I changed out the Phillip head screws for socked head cap screws. It makes removing the main wing much easier. It is best if you use shiny ones. I bought black because it was cheaper, but lost one and it was nearly impossible to see on the ground. Thank goodness, I bought spares. This plane is more aesthetically pleasing with a bolt on top wing, than the ones that use rubber bands over the wing. I know the rubber nands allow the wing to absorb the shock in a crash. If you use too few, the wing can move in flight and bad things happen. If you use too many, then the wing is too rigid to move on impact.
I fly this a lot because of it's wide range of versatility, and durability. (Posted on 4/18/2016)
Good second plane Review by SandyGabby
I have two of these. One on wheels and one on floats. Both could use a bit more power, otherwise this is a good park flyer.
Very aerobatic but not very much up line. Does not need the gyro RX. I use spectrum 4 ch in both of mine. (Posted on 10/2/2015)
