Quick Overview

Corona-RC CS-929-Metal Gear, servo,RedCon Metal Gear Digital Servo - DM-1206

Can not beat it for the money, more torque and lighting fast speed. The RedCon AM-1206 has metal gears which means no stripped gears.

The DM-1206 is a good mix of strength and speed. A PERFECT all round DIGITAL servo.

The RedCon metal Gear sub micro servo is a great choice when you need the extra torque, speed and security of metal gears. This servo is similar in size to the Hitec HS-65, but provides nearly much more torque. The RedCon AM-1206 has the universal "S" type connector that fits most receivers, including Futaba, JR, GWS, Cirrus, Blue Bird, Blue Arrow, Corona, Berg, Spektrum and Hitec.

Look Out! These have one plastic gear in the "metal" gear set. Guess what strips out? (Posted on 7/12/2012)

+1 Here too, I have always heard "get some decent servos" and figured I'd just keep my Hawksky stock. But I ended up replacing the push rod to the elevator since mine had come unglued, so as suggested by Dave Powers I ran the pushrod on top of the elevator rather than underneath and figured I'd replace the servo while I was at it. The rest of the servos are stock and wow what a difference, the Corona is much more responsive in comparison to the stockers. (Posted on 12/2/2011)

These are great servos, I have used them for several flights now, and have had no issues. Can't beat a metal gear servo for the price! (Posted on 10/17/2009)
