Quick Overview

Dynam RC AT-6 Texan, Retracts, radio control warbird, PNP

Dynam RC AT-6 Texan (1370mm)

The Dynam RC AT-6 Texan is a superb WWII scale airplane. Most all the work has been completed in the manufacture process, from assemble to paint to installation of the retracts, it has been all done for you, even before you open the box! All that's left to do is about 1 hour of final assembly and radio installation. The EPO foam is some of the most crash-resistance material in the market (which you will not need since this is a gem to fly). The take off is easy from most hard surfaces or very short grass-field. The large brushless motor provides plenty of power which enables the Dynam AT-6 Texan to have scale take-off with 50% power.

What a beautiful model AT-6 Texan / Harvard 4 Review by Robert L. Hyde
Arrived on time. No dings in the outer carton. Inner At-6 box and parts perfect in package. I haven't started the build yet. Currently wiping it down to repaint in the yellow RCAF Harvard 4 paint scheme. Rudder & Stab done with light grey primer, next the white and last the yellow. Thankfully it comes without the decals applied. No fussing to remove decals and that is a blessing. I wish all models came without paint or decals. I will send more info and pic's when completed. Don't look for completion too soon tho'. I'm a slow and steady worker. A casual prefit looks like it will go together without problems. (Posted on 9/4/2018)
Great plane, fast and fun Review by MMiller
This was my first Dynam, my first war bird and my first lower wing plane. It does tend to dive to the left on takeoff but once you’re up just trim it out. The only problem was the landing gear. It’s weak and stops functioning. I just left them down. It’s surprisingly fast and handles loops, rolls and inverted nicely. A great step-up from beginner planes! (Posted on 8/19/2018)
Great plane for the price and looks great. I have 6 Dynam planes and all fly wonderful. However the retracts are a problem but not on the fixed gear planes. Only the retracts so I changed all mine out to a 4mm shaft servo and Oleo shock absorbing landing Review by Fly boy Bob
great plane! (Posted on 5/24/2017)
Great Airplane! Amazing Value! Review by Luis
This is a great airplane, flies nice, easy to fly and plenty of power. It looks amazing and will draw attention on the field!
CG is way off and is very tail heavy, a single 3s 2200mha battery all the way forward is not enough, two of mine 2200's batteries came close to the right CG just a bit too much if they are all the way forward.
As all other reviewers noted, the landing gear is the weak spot (for all Dynam using the same gear and retracts) carving a little around the wheel wells (bay) should solve the majority of small alignment issues that will prevent it to open properly... (Posted on 5/12/2017)

Great looking plane. Bad retract system Review by GUSTAVO SANCHEZ
I love the looks and the power house. Only issue I had was landing gear as many others have. Graydon hobby was amazing at resolving this issue and am in the air now and can safely Land.
