Maiden Flight Day was Underwhelming Review by Kevin
Rating
I bought this airplane because I like the look, I love the Parkzone T28 (I was given one that is pretty beat up, but still flies great), wanted my first flap/retract, and the price is a great selling point. Being pretty new to airplanes (I've been flying them for less than a month), I had some help working the trim as I was flying, but the first impression everyone at the field got (we're talking 15+ dudes with easily over a century of flying experience between them) was the thing just lacked power. I am using the recommended battery, so that wasn't an issue. BUT, I stumbled across a video done by another online hobby store that discussed setting the throttle something-or-other. After binding, unplug the battery, run the throttle trim all the way down, and the stick all the way up, then plug the battery in. It chimes, then two beeps. Immediately return the throttle to zero. The ESC will go through the normal initialization, and that's supposed to be it. I'll know more next time we go out, but if the power is still really anemic, I'm going to have to figure it out. It literally barely had enough to climb into a 6mph wind after takeoff. I hope that's not "right." (Posted on 8/5/2018)
Landing gear only issue Review by Rick Reynolds

This is a great flying plane and at a great bargain! Fast, yet predictable and easy to fly. The landing gear are somewhat weak and if you land on the front gear first (like I sometimes mistakenly do) they will probably bend up. But otherwise, a good looking performer! (Posted on 7/16/2018)
