GH Super Mega Jet V2 Brushless Outrunner Motor
Details
After 4 yrs GraysonHobby and Welgard learned how to improve the original GH2212-06, by making it larger. GraysonHobby was worked closely with Welgard for several months to develop a ‘V2 MegaJet’ which is a high speed high KV 500 size brushless motor for ultra fast parkjets and parkflyers. Prop range is limited due to the High Kv (2200) rating of this motor. Use with 3 cell lipo battery capable of sustaining 40 amps. Prop range is from 6x5 to 6x5.5.
The motor features a 3.17mm hardened steel shaft, dual ball bearings, and has 3.5mm gold spring male connectors already attached and includes 3 female connectors for your speed control. Mounting holes have 16mm and 19mm spacing on centers and are tapped for 3mm (M3) screws. (ie if the mount does not fit, turn it 90 degrees)
GraysonHobby worked closely with the several manufactures and THIS is the design that won. Reaching 80mph is no problem with this setup on most parkflyers.

- powerfulI highly recommend this motor, and it's not the first one purchased from Grayson. Years ago, at a flote fly on the Missouri River in Fort Benton, MT. The Mega Jet was on a Park Jet's Polaris, although there was plenty of 1/4 scale type gas and glow planes. The little flat foamy was the star of the show. It was blasting around the river and making tight loops that cavitated the prop, making a roar that caught the crowd's attention.
The impressive performance was to the sanguine of the combustion power pilots.Posted on

- BALLISTIC PERFORMANCEJust performed maiden flight of 5EZP Horton 229 prop in the slot park jet with this motor and a Grayson Hobbies 50 amp ESC maited to a 2250 , 3s battery. The all up flying weight was 24 ounces , but the plane flew incredibly fast even at half throttle with a 6x5.5 apc prop. The motor and ESC combo ran very cool despite wide open throttle flight. This is my first GHsmjv2 and I definately plan on buying more! I couldn't be more happier with the motor and ESc performance.

- MegafunThese motors just keepin on, lots of power for my park jets, my planes are built out of foam board, so the extra weight, mega jet motors works great.

- Bad a** motorI bought my first super mega jet about 6 years ago. It is still running strong in a scratch built park jet that I made. Now this one is going in another scratch build that should go 80-100 mph.

- Park Jet Miracle for altitude useI use these for the typical RCPowers park jet, but use them at an elevation over 2700m. The thin air makes these almost a minimum requirement to fly with about 720g planes. Motor runs cool, and no issues. If I could improve one thing it would be for the prop adapters to be a little less soft, but that's the trade off for weight I'm guessing.
