Quick Reference Guide

Reset stabilizer

  1. Connect power
  2. Hold F and B buttons (approximately 5 secs+) until all LED flashes randomly
  3. Press the C button. Multiple LEDs flash a few times to complete the operation

Bind with bind plug

  1. Insert bind plug on Channel 7
  2. Connect power

Bind without bind plug

  1. Connect power
  2. Hold the B button until the red LED flashes

Bind with a satellite without a bind plug

  1. Connect power
  2. Hold the B button until the red LED flashes
  3. Disconnect power
  4. Plug the satellite wire connector into the stabilizer
  5. Connect power

Failsafe

  1. Connect power to the receiver and ensure the servos are working with the transmitter
  2. Press the F button for 3 seconds until green changes from off to on and vice versa to change the failsafe setting. Channel value is saved as failsafe default at the time the green LED turns on.
  3. Turn off the transmitter and wait 2 seconds to ensure the failsafe is activated accordingly by ensuring there is torque generated with finger-pushing the servo linkage if it was to be set. Vice versa.

Stabilization activation switch

  1. Disconnect power
  2. Insert bind plug to channel 5
  3. Hold the C button
  4. Connect power. Wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash.
  5. Release the C button
  6. Press C to make changes within 3 seconds. Green = CH7, Blue = CH5.
  7. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the bind plug

Wing Mode and Dual Aileron

  1. Disconnect power
  2. Insert bind plug to channel 6
  3. Hold the C button
  4. Connect power. Wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash
  5. Check the receiver label/user manual to understand the referred LEDs' operation
  6. Release the C button
  7. Observe which red LED is flashing and brief press C to select the required mode
  8. Press C to toggle between settings. On means selected. Exit automatically in 5 seconds.
  9. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the bind plug
  10. Ensure transmitter mixing is set accordingly for dual aileron if stabilized dual aileron is to be configured.

Gyro direction

  1. Check the receiver label/user manual to understand the referred LEDs' operation
  2. Connect power and wait 1 second
  3. Hold the C button and wait for about 1 second until the 6 LEDs flash
  4. Release the C button
  5. Observe which red LED is flashing and brief press C to select the required mode
  6. Press C to toggle between settings. On means selected. Exit automatically in 5 seconds.
  7. Wait for 3 seconds and remove the bind plug.

V/I sensor calibration

  1. Turn on the receiver and transmitter. The telemetry report page may optionally be checked during and after calibration.
  2. Plug the V/I sensor. Make sure the required DC loading device such as a brushless motor with ESC as well as the current and voltage meter is connected.
  3. Press the button for 2 seconds but no greater than 5 seconds
  4. Observe 3 green LED flashes. Ensure 8.4V is provided to the V/I sensor.
  5. Press F or C button
  6. Observe 3 red LED flashes
  7. Turn on the DC loading device by throttling the transmitter. Ensure 4A is drawing across the V/I sensor. Be careful with the motor spinning if it is to be used.
  8. - Press the B button to save and exit.

V/I probe calibration

  7. Press the B button to save and exit.

Gain setting

  1. Adjust via the 3 dials or real-time master gain on channel 8 depending on the transmitter channel's availability.
  2. View setting LEDs with all on
  3. Press the C button briefly (no more than 2 seconds).

  1. Great Stability/telemetry receiver; works to my expectations
    Rating
I used a satellite just because I’m used to doing so but most likely did not need it. Setup was a bear until I realized that I needed to unplug the servos and do the setup with the bind plug and power only as described. I was getting green 1,2 and 3 lights (not r1, r2 and r3) and it would not go into stability mode until I removed the servo connections. Once I did, it was a breeze to setup and works great with good range. I wish the unit would allow channel 3-5 for dual elevators, but it won’t using stability. I reversed one elevator servo arm and used a Y and it works good that way (which is fine since the model is a .60 size. With no stability (used as a normal 7 channel receiver you can use 3-5 for elevators.

This is a great RX and for the money you can not find a better one!! I am flying it with my Radio Master TS16 TX . It bound easily and the telemetry is an added bonus to the stabilization. I plan to buy more of these for my sailplanes.
