- Good drone, great customer service 3 people found this helpfulthis is my first 5" FPV drone. Had a problem with receiver binding and then all channels working. Talked to Will and he sent me a file to upload into drone thru betaflight. Worked like a champ. Then I couldn't get it to arm. Once again Will told me how to fix that. Drone ready to fly but I haven't had a chance to so yet due to weather and other factors. It looks great, hope it flies as well as it looks. I would like to give Will an A+ for all the patient help he gave me.
- Great drone for beginner 0 people found this helpfulPurchased this drone for first 5"drone fpv flying. First had problem binding the ELRS receiver with radio. Called store for help. Kim sent me a CLI file to use. Installed file and got an immediate bind. Then I couldn't get drone to arm. Called again and Kim immediately solved that issue. Since I am new to drone flying I am not sure what to look for but as far as I can tell the drone is well constructed. I hope It will withstand the many crashes I expect to have. I want to give an A+ to Grayson hobby customer support. Price is right.
- Elrs Version for the Darwin FPV Johnny 5 BNF 0 people found this helpfulI purchased the Johnny 5 last week. I also couldn't get the ELRS receiver to bind to my Zorro ELRS Transmitter. The cause was that the RP1 receiver is shipped with ELRS 3.0 on it and my Zorro is running 2.0. I emailed Grayson Hobby and they answered back right away. I just wish there was some information about this included in the box. I wound up flashing ELRS 2.0 on the quad receiver and it bound up with no problem. I have flown several packs now and I really like the way the quad handles. I think it's a great quad for the money.
- Darwin 240 Johnny 5 1 people found this helpfulAnother quality product from Grayson Hobby . When I saw GH was expanding their Darwin line to a reasonably priced 5” I had to jump. I wasn’t disappointed. With 2207 motors it’s got power combined with a real smooth flight. Happy flying y’all
