- Perfect Beginner EDF Powerplant! 0 people found this helpfulNot having to initially balance the blade or blades, then match with a proper esc, eliminates rookie frustration. I installed mine in a FT Viggen, powered it up with a 4 cell, and was immediately impressed. The edf had to rub a bit to round things out. But afterwards, the blade/shroud clearance was extremely impressive. I pulled 633 watts with loads of thrust. Keep the weight down on the Viggen...and you'll have a screamer! Great job Greyson Hobby!
