Bullnose Props

 Bullnose props give increased thrust while staying rigid while using shorter props.

Airplane fliers have been cutting down props for years.  Longer props have more pitch but in some cases, the prop would strike the ground, so without loosing too much thrust, by cutting down the tips of the prop would clear.  During this necessity, it was discovered the props actually gave increased thrust and were a bit stiffer compared to regular prop of the same size.
