Please note, it is 100% personal preference in which shaft you use. You can always put on a 3.17mm prop saver on the threaded shaft. At GraysonHobby, we have several airplanes with both styles of shafts. The threaded shaft is a bit longer however, which can fit thru some nose cowls better

- Works on wingI put this combo on a custom built wing that had a smaller motor. It's 42" wide and needed a little more power and this combo took care of that. I use a 8 x 4 GWS prop turned around to push it. Combo does well at all speeds.
