  1. SMOOTH SIDE UP !
    Rating
Grayson Hobbies is awesome to deal with ! I initially installed this ESC with a GHMJV2 Mega Jet Engine and had problems with heating right off the bat. I emailed Grayson Hobbies and got a return ticket. However, the salesman on the phone also said to make sure i had fastened the ESC to the plane with the lumpy side down and the smooth cooling side up. Yours truly had screwed up and installed it lumpy side (non cooling side up.When I switched the mounting so that the cooling side (smooth side) was exposed to the air and not the velcro the ESC worked great . I'm happy to report that even extended flights at wide open throttle don't get the 2250 3S battery , motor, or ESC past mildly warm.
