- First venture into OpenTXLike everything about the Jumper T18. Bought the lipo battery with the tx didn’t bother with the 18650.
It may not go so well for the technology challenged but I appreciate its capability and ability to customize. I have been a JR/Spektrum guy all along but after doing repairs to them I see how cheaply made they are. The T18 is very well made.Posted on
- Just thrilledIt blew my mind! It fits my hands nicely the gimbals are everything I dreamed of it’s my first full size radio and I couldn’t be more happy with choosing this product I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is into rc!

- Awesome!I love this radio, it fits great in the hand, the gimbals feel nice and precise, and the looks, well imho it's the best looking radio on the market. It balances well on a lanyard even with a 2s lipo, crsf lite, and a 3s to power the crsf externally. The setup was a breeze.

- Great Multi-Protocol RadioI've been using the radio for a couple weeks and I'm more than satisfied with it's performance. The gimbals feel nice and all of the switches are sturdy feeling. The sliders on the side need to be a little bit tighter and tend to be easily unintentionally moved. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of USB-C charging, but it's not a deal breaker. If Jumper follows up like they did with the T16, it's only going to get better. If you're in the market for a multi-protocol radio with great gimbals and looks to boot, this is the one!

- Good but not great.I purchased this RC to replace a X-Lite with the external module. I was hoping for greater range. First I sit when I fly FPV. The RC sits on my lap. The 2.4 ghz patch antenna is on the back of the RC. It does not transmit well from that position. Since I am not using 915mhz I swapped the patch for the external antenna on the board and removed the 914 antenna for a 2.4 one. That helped. However the was still not ideal. That took tuning the frequencies to match the Frsky XM+ Rxs that I am using.

- Right Cylinder ScrollLove it. Second radio I've owned. Used to fly a trainer as a kid and really enjoyed flying. Got a Yak 54 50cc and needed something New...
The Radio is of Excellent quality however as stated above the right control cylinder/button is super hard to do anything with because each click isnt actually a movement on the LCD display. Its 2 scrolls for 1 click if that makes sense. Really annoying. If there is some way to adjust or a program to download to fix it please let me know. Hence the 4 starsPosted on
- Great for first Multiprotocol RadioI really enjoy the new T18 Pro with the big color screen vs the old Taranis X9d. Also the fact that I can pair my older Graupner Drones with it is awesome. The radio is not perfect though - the dial is made of cheap plastic and tends to jump two lines at a time making it difficult to select the desired item. Also the range due to the internal antenna is less than my x9d. I hope opentx supports it soon as it does not work with the companion yet. Worried about the long term support on this as jumper seem to have troubles with Frsky. The Radiomaster seems to be a real competitor... many (like Joshua Bardwell) like it more than the T18 which makes me think if I have chosen the correct remote...

- Buy a T16 Pro InsteadMost RC airplane flyers are not going to be using a long range receiver so the use of an internal antenna with limited range is a dissapointment. The roller on the right hand is sloopy making it difficult to choose selections. Jumper has yet to release a manual for this product which indicates it was prematurely released. OpenTX has yet to release a version for the T18.

- Shipped with incomplete softwareNice radio hardware design, lots of improvements. But the OpenTX software is not ready and is full of bugs. Also Companion is not supported.

- Software is a messGreat physical device and design, but the software is full of bugs and OpenTX companion is not supporting it on release. Very disappointed in the firmware.
