TowerPro MG92B Digital Metal Gear Servo

Can not beat it for the money, More torque and faster speed than comparable 'nylon gear' servos. The TP-MG92B is the upgraded version of the workhorse MG90. The MG-92B has metal gears which means no stripped gears and comes in a stylish blue alloy case.

The TP MG92B Metal Gear sub micro servo is a great choice when you need the extra torque and security of metal gears. This servo is similar in size to the TP SG90 and Hitec HS-55, but provides nearly much more torque. The TP MG92B has the universal "S" type connector that fits most receivers, including Futaba, JR, GWS, Cirrus, Blue Bird, Blue Arrow, Corona, Berg, Spektrum and Hitec.

  3. Hands down best servo
    Rating
This servo isn't just great for a 9g~13g servo, it's probably one of the best all the way to 18g servos because few, if any put out 3.5kg of torque at 6v. So for something that weighs in at 13.8g, that's pretty awesome.

  7. Seem very good

I only have a few flights on these but they seem great. I replaced 2 ha 65mg servos because I needed more torque on the ailerons. They worked!

  8. Interesting..

I was not sure if they were continuous rotation or normal servos, and after receiving them... I still don't know. They have no end stops, so they can turn endlessly. They also seem to have only about a 60deg travel through software, which is weird, being they have no stops. I am however happy with them. They have loads of power, albeit noisy. I would buy again if power in a small package is needed!

  9. Super good specs but performance is not so good
    Rating
These sound good on paper but the reality is not so good. They are fast and have good torque but... I bought 4. Two were fairly quiet but the other 2 were quite noisy. The big issue is they don't center very well. I find the trim changes several times on a 5 minute flight. Took a chance but I guess you get what you pay for.

  10. Useless for RC planes.
    Rating
Anything more than 50 percent throw, and the servo suddenly rotates 180 degrees from desired position.
These are MG92B Hi-Torq servos. I have used these in the past with good results, but this last batch of 10 servos is crap.
